OAKLAND RAIDERS

Milwaukee musician juggles touring with TV and ad projects
Milwaukee's Joe Wong has helped score two feature-length films, written music for dozens of recognizable commercials, landed a job scoring a show on Cartoon Network and somehow found the time to tour the world and record with his critically lauded noise-rock band, Parts & Labor.
While any one of those accomplishments would make a reformed punk rocker's mother proud, his ability to juggle so many ambitious projects without having to abandon his hometown is a testament to how the Internet and increasingly affordable recording equipment have empowered musicians across the world.
He and his writing partner, Didier Laplae, of nfl jerseys local kaleidoscopic rock band the Chain, have received critical praise for their film scores.
Wong's New York bandmates recently decamped to Brew City to record a new album while he and Laplae have been busy hammering out music in their Riverwest studio for "Robotomy," a show for the Cartoon Network about two teenage droids.
Wong took a break to talk about his ever-expanding musical exploration, writing music to sell hamburgers, and why he's glad his parents lied to him about Michael Jackson making a house call.
Q.What's your first memory of music in your life?

A. We do a lot of the Geico commercials with the gecko on it. And the one with the Pips, the Pips of Gladys Knight and the Pips. We did all the Wendy's commercials for a year. We've done a bunch of stuff that people would recognize.

A. First of all, it opened me up to a new scene I wasn't previously aware of and introduced me to new ideas. And then I got kind of tired of it after a few years, because I started exploring again and wanted to find something else.

I think basically what I'm saying (is), the thing with playing music in the first place is exploring something that, aside from being an art form unto itself, is an avenue to meet new people and explore new ideas.

Some days, we're looking for good food without the fuss. We'd like to just pick it up and go, or have a quick sit-down without waiting for the check.
Here are a few restaurants around the area that offer tasty food, ordered from the counter.
Vintage Cafe & City Deli
A small sign marks the spot for Vintage Cafe & City Deli on football jerseys Washington Ave. in Cedarburg. It can be easy to miss the cafe, in a historical building with a brick and half-timber façade.
But that would be a shame; it's a charmer. Open the door and descend a few stairs to the restaurant, which is outfitted with some comfy furniture for lounging - maybe with a glass of wine from nearby Cedar Creek Winery or a beer - and about a dozen tables for dining. But when the days are warm, I make a beeline for the patio.
That's where a half-dozen tables surrounded by black-eyed Susans, hydrangeas and other plants afford a view of Cedar Creek meandering by. It's a relaxing, pleasant way to pass lunch.
Peruse a paper menu at the counter before placing your order from the lineup of tasty sandwiches and salads, with a couple of daily soups. The chef here is also the new owner since December, Debra McQuaid Morales.
The curried chicken salad wrap ($6.95) packed a lot of flavor inside that tortilla: A lightly sweet, not spicy, curry dressing enveloped chunks of chicken, crisp green apple and sweet dried cranberries. It was delicious.
So was the cafe's interpretation of New York Giants jersey a warm, pressed Cuban sandwich ($7.50) - pork loin, ham and Swiss cheese, enlivened with jerk-mango sauce and mustard.
Herbed mayonnaise layered on the flavor in a ham and dilled havarti cheese sandwich ($6.95), stacked with greens on baguette.
I was glad that corn-potato chowder ($3.50) didn't fall into the salt trap that so many soups do, but wished for just a little more spark.
For a side dish, check out the salads, sold by weight or as a sampler ($6.95, three servings of 5 ounces each). Roasted soy nuts gave an appealing crunch to a pasta salad of penne, spinach and sun-dried tomato ($5.95 a pound).
Customers can grab their drinks from a refrigerated cooler, find a table, and perhaps do no more than watch the lazy creek roll past - staff members deliver orders and clear plates. Pleasant indeed.

Who can resist ribs?
The pork Adam's ribs (dinner, $8.75; combo, $11.75) were juicy and tender, with the meat still clinging to the bone, just the way it should. The barbecue sauce here can be spicy or mild.
I can't resist beef ribs ($10.25, $13.75) when they're available - owner Larry Wade, a Milwaukee native whose family hails from Louisiana, said he offers them only when he can get meatier Angus beef ribs. There's just something Flintstone-esque about wielding those big ribs. Satisfying, too.
Dinners come with coleslaw and the classic barbecue accompaniment: a couple of slices of soft, white bread to catch the sauce.
There's a choice of New York Jets jersey two side dishes (and soft drink) with dinner combos. I'd recommend the tender greens, served with a crisped corncake made Southern style - classic hot-water cornbread, not sweet; the sweet potatoes, sugared, spiced and coarsely mashed; or the red beans and rice, done well.
Macaroni and cheese was ultra-velvety; processed cheese does deliver creaminess. Coleslaw, despite the addition of celery seeds, and potato salad were standard - not as satisfying as other choices.
Isaiah's has various barbecue sandwiches, and entrées beyond barbecue, such as fried catfish. The kitchen was out of smothered pork chops the day I hoped to try them, but the meatloaf ($7.25 with one side) flecked with green pepper was flavorful and light.
An adjoining dining room with plenty of seating is lightened with mirrors and silk plants. You can fill your soda cup and enjoy your dinner there, but most patrons seemed to take their orders to go. Sometimes, a person just likes to have a quiet moment with his barbecue.

It can be easy to miss the restaurant in this small Indian grocery on the south side. Toward the back, past the packed shelves, stand a small bakery case and cash register. Swivel your head to the left and you'll see a sliver of Oakland Raiders jersey a dining area. A sign advertises "Indian fast food."
Folded menus lie near the cash register, where customers order. I'd advise picking up a menu and calling ahead for takeout; if the restaurant is busy, an order can take a half-hour or more.
And it's definitely busy on Friday and Saturday nights, when the small, simple dining area is filled mostly with Indian families. Little ones can be seen with the children's dosa ($4.49), the large ground-rice crepe from south India, shaped into a cone and sprinkled with sugar.
If you're dining in - and ambience is not a factor here, it's all about the food - a pass-through window slides open from the kitchen and your order is handed out to you. (Carryout orders are brought to the cash register.)
The dishes smelled heavenly. Everything on the menu - including a variety of dosas and curries - is meatless. Simple legumes and lentils are the stars of many dishes, but the use of aromatic spices is nothing short of extravagant.
A curry with large chunks of tender Asian eggplant, bagara baingan ($6.99), was rich with sesame and peanut. Another curry, paneer makhani ($6.99), held incredibly tender cheese cubes in a creamy tomato gravy, and avial ($6.99) was a compelling blend of vegetables, coconut and yogurt. Curries are served with rice and a pickled vegetable.
I loved the dosas, served hot and tantalizingly crisp, many wrapped around various fillings and big enough for two: onion masala dosa ($5.99), filled with potatoes yellow from turmeric and lots of sweet onion, and Mysore masala dosa ($6.99), also filled with potato and onion but with the extra kick of spicy chutney. Dosas are served with a cup of sambar, lentil soup that's just a little spicy; mild coconut chutney; and spicy onion chutney.
I barely scratched the surface of nfl throwback jerseys the extensive menu, and with every dish I knew I wanted to try more.

There are four criteria that every keyword phrase must have:
1. Relevance – It must be relevant to your content and product or service
2. Traffic – It must have sufficient traffic to make it worth building web pages around
3. Low Competition – The lower the number of competing documents the better
4. Profitability – It must be able to generate revenue
