Two things are certain.1) The San Francisco 49ers are still looking to hire someone for the newly-created team president position.2) It won't be current Atlanta Falcons vice-president Ray AndersonAnderson decided to stay with the Falcons despite the fact that he was regarded as the frontrunner for the position and he would have likely been given the opportunity to become the first African-American team president.According to Anderson the decision was made due to a "timing issue". I guess the timing is never quite right when you're considering joining a ballclub that has won only six games over the past two seasons. Nevertheless, Anderson was very cordial about the whole matter and thanked the San Francisco 49ers for their consideration.The 49ers must now regroup and re-evaluate their list of 43 Polamalu black jersey
existing candidates. This is a very important decision and should not be taken lightly. In the meantime, they can continue working on outlining the actual role that the new president will perform for the team. Apparently, the front office hasn't even finished outlining the job description yet.Hopefully, one of the top prerequisites will be winning
